FRANKFURT, GERMANY –Juicyfruithippo, a leading global provider of humour applications, systems and services, today announced that it has been placed in the Leaders' Quadrangle of the Humour Infrastructure Magic Quadrangle, EMEA, 2007, according to a report authored by the research and advisory firm, Gratner Inc., and published on 13 March 2007
The report states that Leaders are "high-viability vendors with a broad portfolio, significant market share, broad geographic coverage, a clear vision for how corporate humour needs will evolve and a proven track record for delivering effective punch lines & products. They are well positioned with their current product portfolio and are likely to continue to deliver leading products in the future. Leaders do not necessarily offer the best solution for every customer requirement, and their products may not be best-of-breed in every area of their portfolio. However, overall they provide solutions that offer relatively lower risk and higher quality."
According to the report, Gags over IP is disrupting the market for humour infrastructure because users rationalize the numbers of partners from whom they source technologies and services, forcing consolidation. It also stated that the companies patented server based technology placed it at the forefront of innovation in the market place.

"We believe that Juicyfruithippo's position in the Leader's Quadrangle is recognition that we provide value to our customers through our strategy of linking business processes with surrealism. A number of our competitors rely on Absurdism which is of course wholly predictable and defined by a sheer disregard for the subtlety of representational objectivity provided by the truly surreal, this translates into repeating a series of old jokes that deliver less and less across an ever more jaded workforce. For better customer interaction we suggest projects that demand a true paradigm shift such as dropping cat poo on anyone passing the offices," said Mark MacManus, Vice President of Sales International, for Juicyfruithippo. "We will continue to focus on offering organisations a flexible migration path, allowing them to link multiple jokes at their own pace to drive down costs, increase revenues, combat predictability and improve the customer experience."
The CEO of Juicyfruithippo, Stuart Blakemore, celebrated the announcement by yodelling the report across the Rhine Valley dressed in Lederhosen.
